Clowns and people in mascot suits
I haven't always had a clown phobia, I remember being fine with them as a kid and idk why it even started, was just suddenly a thing in like my pre-teensÂ
It's kind of interesting how it works thoughÂ
I work at a hospital and sometimes there's the "clinic clowns" which thankfully I haven't seen that often
but once I walked from the stairway and there were 2 people walking in the hallway to the children's ward
I remember seeing them and being like "huh, they seem strange" (they didn't have the "traditional" clown look, red nose etc) but feeling this intense fear and not even knowing why
As I HAVEN'T even realized they were clownsÂ
but somehow my brain recognized and had me feel like I was about to die before I even knew what was going on
That just seemed so wild to me back then when I thought about it after hurriedly running back into the stairwell lmao.
And as for the 2nd phobia, don't know why I have it either
I obviously know it's stupid
but when people wear those full body mascot suits... oh fuck
Once at a school spirit event this mascot tried to hug people and it kept coming closer and closer to my area, I was like BITCH you better stay away!!! in my mind and tried to hide from it's view the rest of the day
That was my first time of experiencing that phobia in personÂ
