but why does the brain program us to survive! u could just die yes, but you'd most likely end up feeding yourself before it happens if you have access to food by any means. we are constantly in survival mode, we are always succumbing to the animal mind, we think we're free from it but it's the ego deceiving us, our reason is monkey survival. so my question is why does monkey and plants and whatever exist. a mystery

Evolution, of course. There doesn't have to be, and probably isn't, an end goal. Things are just happening, no because. It think that's cooler than whatever reason people come up with.

I think we'll probably kill each other before we get the chance to. Or change our way of living again and again, not fast enough for evolution to catch on. 
No but if something is at an evolutionary disadvantage, that means it doesn't live long enough to produce offspring. I don't think modern people are at an evolutionary disadvantage so those traits won't die off. We won't evolve to survive modern life because modern life serves us in terms of living long enough to produce offspring. We might evolve to be different, but I don't think we'll evolve to be more resilient, because. modern medicine and shit. I don't know I'm kind of talking out of my ass, I read Sapiens like five years ago, don't take me or anything I say seriously.
