yes a lot. I had never been that stable ever until few months ago
stress can be a trigger for episodes but i guess the meds should still work more than they have
stress, but also poor sleep & diet (cruel, right?)

my moms mania is triggered every fucking time she goes thru something medical - which happens a lot because of cancer. It's exhausting.

I do hope you find some relief and peace soon. Have the hospital stays been helpful to you?
yep. keeping w my sleep schedule is the easiest one but somestimes life is just stressful. got a doctors note to take time off from work hoping i can just relax for a while

thank you.
they helped me go from manic to normal in the hospital but except from that idk. i have a doctors appointment next week hoping that will help
mom was given a med that she takes when she feels like she's about to become manic, and it works somewhat. It's just hard to get her to take it when she's manic because she feels so good

they're trying to work with her right now on like, being able to identify when it's about to happen before it becomes full-blown mania in therapy. do they do that with you?

I dunno what things are like where you live, but I really hope that this can help! It also may help you meet other folks who actually have the same conditions as you, and they can share signs and experiences.  My cousin has incredibly severe bipolar (some of the worst I've seen, as far as hallucinations and stuff) and her and my mom talking and sharing has really helped them both know what to look out for in themselves and eachother.

I go to a self help group for bipolar on wednesdays. Which has been a really great experience meeting others but i still feel kind of alone as everyone but 1 there has type 2 so its similar but not the same experience
