I rly don't care tho like rly books is the hill to die on smh like ppl would have to cancle an insane amount of authors and who even care that much about the authors. Not me tbh. As a reader, I care about the work, not the author.

That post was just repeating a variety of stances within the book community that I've observed. I don't buy merch but the book community in general is consumerist af in merch 💁🏼‍♀️
