I think it's hard to find a job with little education without being customer service though. If you think you can manage to help customers a bit/talk n stuff with ppl, working at a store like kitchen utensils, book or spa stuff store it could be a fit (?)
I work at a bookstore and I dont use my body so much (just a little when the goods arrive and you gotta place it where it belongs) and even tho talking and helping ppl was hella scary in the start it got easier very quickly esp after learning abt the stuff u sell.
Id recommend to talk to job supervisor to start with (idk what country you're from but you can get one from nav in norway to help get out to the job marked, and also find out if you got rights to get a bit money while you're on job hunting etc).
The job supervisor will help with writing job applications or talk&relfect what options you have in the job marked.
i want to be able to do costumer service but my social anxiety makes me wanna scream. i want to work through it and i think if i could work a place where they allowed me to work through my anxiety slowly, it could be a possibility. but idk if those places exist
i did contact job supervisor. before i got started they told me to apply for help with money. so i did and got rejected bc i have too much in my savings. then i didnt hear from them again so i called them (as in my mom called them) to know whats up and they were like... youre not in the system anymore before you got rejected from help with money. ok??? i still need help with getting a job or whatever. so they were like hmmm maybe we can make it work anyways lets see
whole thing just let me down completely i wanna throw them out...
I understand, it's v scary to jump into it esp with social anxiety. But it's ok to remember you can always quit if it gets too unbearable. It was hella scary in the start but you'll have training first and time to get to know your coworkers - and if there's something you don't know you can always ask for help from coworkers. So you won't be alone in it. Always worth to try out atleast and it's a good to get out of comfortzone, and you're not obligated to stay in a job if you feel it's too much toll on your mental health. But i recon you'll be fine if there's good work envoriment. You are more resistant than you think you are, and I believe you can do it <3 sending lots of good wishes and hope you get a job that you enjoy
Lmao the job supervisor you got sounds like typical ones who don't wanna help ppl, how annoying. Def try to push on them that you want help with the job searching process, esp when you have issues with social anxiety. It's not easy to do it alone in this.
thank you so much for the kind words means a lot <3
