Is this something that happens to you often? I don't think that's a universal experience.
I don't think you are often around adults in the age of having small children because it is a universal experience that parents talk about their kids and show pictures of their kids and overshare details about the health of their kids
You think wrong. I live in a country with an average birth rate of 3 per woman and I'm constantly around people of different age groups, meaning around new parents. Also I have 23 cousins and only like, 4 of them do not have children.
Regardless, I've never had someone show me or someone around me a photo of their child's rash or some shit.

I guess it's more exciting in other countries when people have children. Like, if you have a child it's exciting for you and maybe your family and friends but it's not your coworker or neighbour's problem, you know? They probably have like 5 of their own.

I don't think it's like that, and it's not about the amount either

My biggest problem with parents is the fact that most of them don't seem to respect their children's right to privacy. I don't care if you've born them, please reconsider sharing everything about them online.

My uncle married a woman with 6 children, and I honestly enjoyed her company because she was very sweet. When we became friends on Facebook I lost a lot of respect for her, because she overshares everything her children do, and shares at least 50+ pictures of them every day (this is not an exaggeration unfortunately) Some of the pictures are the children in just underwear, which in theory is fine, but her Facebook profile has no privacy-settings, so literally anyone on the internet can find these pictures of her almost naked children, and I just ???? please protect them more, you don't know who will misuse or see these pictures, because you haven't even done 10% of data protection for them. Children deserve a right to privacy before they're old enough to consent.

Just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it's not universal. In fact you are one of the few lucky ones :p

Dog people treat their dogs as children.

I am such a dog people. I do, however, not overshare on the internet if it isn't in an appropriate setting, where other dog people also share experiences.
