sizes are inconsistent anyway, you can use a tape measure and look at what cm they give for each size (zalando is very good at that)

That's also a valid opinion to have, I'd probably feel similarly about it if the options weren't "what colour hoodie do you want and what shade of blue (or black) jeans do you want today?"
