nah, "regular" pickles do grow bigger, but the bigger they get, the more bitter they become (I mean, it is a gourd after all and they do become VERY bitter with time)

definitely! our neighbour is from Ukraine and she only grows the short ones for pickling, but most other people in my village prefer the bigger watery ones

Yea the "english" one is the one i usually see in stores that are* both grown in denmark and imported from other places in europe. Also the one my fam grows
