I haven't tried addi but knitpro cables aren't my favourite, they have a memory so they're kind of annoying to work with compared to chiaogoo cables. Like, they stay curled. I think they have nylon coated steel cables as well, which is what chiaogoo has, but they're not as common as their regular cables.
