that's probably the most incriminating thing I'd read thus far. Labs can get mixed up, but sane people don't see losing a daughter as a financial opportunity. Especially when they can already afford to go on foreign vacations with three small children in tow. Though to be fair I'm probably biased on geography as an American.

The parents say she disappeared may 3rd. If she didn't tho, but actually was murdered a couple days earlier, it makes a lot of sense. They could've gotten rid of the body, made some phone calls... ya know. Other theories suggest she was murdered during a day trip to somewhere, may 2nd. Three months later the family went back there, and apparently they're catholics and apparently catholics like to visit graves after 3 months. Since no one can say for sure they saw Madeleine after april 30th or may 1st it's very much possible she died may 1st and they brought her with them to that place, dead, may 2nd to get rid of the body and that's why they decided to revisit three months later, august 2nd.

Her uncle even quit his job in order to "take care" of the fund. 

Portugal isn't abroad from the UK... all you gotta do is hop on a flight or take a couple trains or something. Still not cheap tho. Oh, and both parents were or are doctors.

She was lost in 2007 i think it was and then they never found her again. She was in an apartment and her parents went to a diner to eat with their friends. And when they came back, the girl was gone and there was basically no trace of her. People think that she got kidnapped, murdered, or an accident happened to her, etc.
No one really knows and this is sort of creeping me out.

That's the official story:
McCanns go to the bar with their traveling friends. At 8:30pm may 3rd 2007, the kids are asleep and left alone in the vacation apartment the family rented. Daddy McCann goes to check on them, and notices nothing odd. When mommy McCann goes to check on them a half hour later, she notices that the window in the bedroom is open and that the curtains are blowing in the wind. She looks down at Madeleine's bed, and finds that it's empty, so she runs back to the bar and tells everybody about it. They all rush to the apartment, and soon the apartment is full of people everywhere. Eventually the police are called and the cops are being involved. The apartment was, unfortunately, not treated as a crime scene at first, so most of the evidence was compromised.
That's probably why we don't know for sure what happened.
