We can't predict the future but we can do all that is in our power to try to prevent it, like, I don't know, doing the slightest of background checks?
not do dox myself here but it wasn't as easy as going to a store and just buying a gun for me

and also who’s to say the woman pulling the trigger would be able to prove in court they were about to be raped. cause i dont see it. she’d go to jail for murder probably

We are NEVER going to be able to stop all crimes. But at least we can do our best at preventing causing as much harm as possible by letting people legally carry so it's not just the bad guys who are prepared.
