Honestly the womens restrooms I've been to have always been messier and smellier than the men's restrooms I've been to.

as for the smells, it's easy
in men's restrooms (speaking of the typical binary and excluding trans terms) can smell of pee and shit
women's restrooms can also have the distinct "period" smell (it's really cloying)
Yeah but they also left toilets unflushed more often so, there's that.
