I’m starting to feel this way too, how can someone possibly have every single controversial opinion?
tbh i kind of feel like betraying my own sex when choosing a male doctor but honestly experience has brought me here and i just want the best medical care
ow many male doctors have told me that going on walks can fix my depression, loads of bullshit innit

yes and, it says that ADDING yoga to it can help, so its not useless

I think the reason was that he was a neurologist though not that he was a man, I don’t know if the other doctor was a GP or what but that could be why she didn’t know the treatment for migraines? Not her speciality?

i had major pains in my abdomen and they told me it's because i had to start my period in a couple days. So i said "but i've had it for over a week?" and they said "oh then it's due to ovulation" like wut

not all female pains are due to their cycle excuse me

I could tell stories about male and female medical personnel, but honestly I don't have the energy tonight.

I'm very glad my parents believed in me and advocated for me, or it would have been a very different story, that's all I'm gonna say.

i always tell  my mom to bring my dad into all her doctor visits having an advocate makes a big difference

Definitely, should’ve tried to help you further. The other doctors also shouldn’t have dismissed your complaints as all just cycle problems, but that’s honestly a lot of doctor’s problems, women or men.
