You truly seem like you do already think you know best, even if you’re looking for advice like,,, being arrogant doesn’t mean you can’t ask someone’s opinion automatically but it can factor in the way you choose to respond to the advice you get also. I like… despised some girl on gsm because she had higher rights in a club than me and I was so jealous and I had her blocked for years and I don’t think I ever spoke more than 2 words to her

tbf that just pettiness not anger but I still find it funny

comments like these imply that even if i had higher amount of empathy, i would still be arrogant, lack self-awareness etc.

Empathy literally has nothing do with self-awareness. You can lack empathy, but at the same time be aware that you exhibit behaviour that is considered bad by the rest of society. You thus regulate your behaviour because you don't want to face potential negative consequences, not because of any kind of consideration of others' feelings or whatever.

altho again im very certain that my brain legit forgetting things plays a part bc if im reminded of things and i start reflecting on it im like woaww thats kind of annoying ngl, but then thankfully the emotional mark of the memory is faded enough for my mind to chime in and be like nooo understand that [insert reasons] so it's ok and it's best to move on!!

None of these tests allows for nuance I need like a ten page essay to explain my reasoning for eventually just putting my answer as much in the middle as possible
