I've had addicts of all types in my life, and alcoholics are by far the cruelest, and most miserable people to be around.

That being said, I think folks, especially younger folks, mistake alcohol abuse with alcoholism and they are not necessarily the same.

my friends who work in rehabs all have pretty much the same view on the subject 
I dunno what it is, part of me wonders if its a bitterness from not being able to partake in a legal substance without spiraling idk
