My grandfather is Dutch so I have family there, but I never got to learn it as a child... not that I really have any use for it, it's just a language I always wished I'd known
Grammar is for cowards, the real mvps don't bother with it. After all, native speakers fuck up all the time anyway
Guess I'll just throw around the random things I've learned and hope that someone understands me < /3
My grammar isn't top-notch in any language I speak, the most important aspect is being understood and understanding honestly. Keep practising, eventually things will likely start to make sense or even if they don't, maybe it becomes automatic so you just accept it lol I almost have a 1100 day streak on duolingo, although I must admit I've been doing several languages lately, I'm guessing 1050 of the days are French exclusively. I'm.. A2?? Maybe.
