It really depends i think, but what I've understood is that engagement rings usually has a diamond (or more) and the wedding ring is ''just'' the golden band. But I think people these days opt for just one ring and usually one without a diamond.

I personally would like both an engagement ring and the wedding ring. One with a diamond and one without. But I get what I get and what matters is that I'm with a person I love
this is me if i ever get married i'd want the engagement ring to be the diamond/gem  and then the actual wedding ring on the wedding day to be the matching band..especially if it was like one of those encrusted stone bands -drools-

yeah i don't care too much about if it's a real diamond (but the gesture would be fucking cool), but i would like a stone on the engagement ring, and just a normal golden ring as the wedding ring i think (like disintegration talked about)
Yeah I don't care too much either, if it shines I'll take it and stare at it for years xD

yeaaah it would be weird lmao, imagine i'd have my jason voorhees ring and my spouse would have a freddy krueger ring. it would be absolutely perfect

i do hope my future spouse is a slasher/horror fan tho cause it's so much more fun to watch with someone else
