no rules just whatever and I know in italian most new words are masculine because it has the least amount of irregular rules

it's they have to match zapato is shoe so that's male right like libro and baño is toilet so these are male words and like coche for car or lapiz is pencil like el lapiz el coche el libro

and like female words are like ventana is window or library is biblioteca its like a at the end so its female its la biblioteca but sometimes theres different ones that arent the rules i guess lmao
