thank you, i do use it in school and i study philosophy at university. they said that if you use wikipedia, go to the source linked at the bottom and then read it from that source.

Actually in my school they allow you to use wikipedia as long as you also use other sources along with whatever youre writing about. So you can definately use it, just not rely all of you information and work on it

yes like as long as you learn critical thinking skills and are able to identify a reliable source, then you can use wikipedia all you want. just go to the source thats linked to the part you want to use, read it from that source

no thats bc wikipedia in itself is not a source, it's a gathering of different sources. if there is material on a wikipedia page you want to use, then click the footnote that's sourced to the part you want to use, go to the original source and reference back to that in your paper.

i dont believe that or how youre portraying them. I think teachers are super important and undervalued even if we meet a lot who we dislike or even hate. trust me ive had more shitty teacher than good ones but the good ones stick out the most because they actually care on educating people as much as the fucked up education system allows them

what im saying is, that the wiki page is not a source in itself, it however links all its claim to actual sources which you can easily look up, because they are added as footnotes to the paper. so reading a wikipedia article is like reading a well-sourced paper. the paper is not a source, but you can reference to the paper, as it is properly sourced and thereby reliable information.

Ive never met a bad teacher in my life, im just saying they r literally braindead mostly when it comes to computer stuff and especially Wikipedia
