honestly im not even mad at him literally at all. he did try to police my behavior lmao but he did it out of a total failure to understand the lived experiences of women and out of his own fear. if he thought i was safe the whole time he wouldnt have tbought me being polite was bad. and he stayed next to me the whole time afterward that we were still in the story. like he showed me withh his actions that he understood my discomfort and he may have verbally downplayed it but he clearly took it seriously.  like men are just literally never going to be able to fully understand our lived experiences and they think they helping by offering solutions like  we never tried that other solution yet lmao. like i cant be mad at the guy for thinking hes helping even tho its all so so so wrong lmao.
