Don't let your job dictate your personality then
I try to think its just temporary and I will have a real career one day

Holy shit tho the fear I'll be trapped in retail forever is real tho

But yeah I probably need a hobby so I have some meaning to my life that isnt just "wake up and work a job you hate with all ur heart"
apply for everything
all they can do is say no
Its embarrassing but I never learned to drive, I'm working on that and when I finally do I'm applying for assisted living positions

I think thatd be fulfilling and I'd earn more

But kinda thinking maybe snus is right that I concentrate too much on being a worker to feel worthy

My mother has only complaining about money and work as her personality and she's the worst human I've met. Enslaved by capitalism, a pity.
Good point actually

I've been told before dont wrap your life in work

It just sucks we live in a world where you need money to live, and your access to enriching resources is income dependent

But idk you gave me something to think about
I can barely afford anything, the poverty line in Norway is .. well the amount of money defining it is more than twice what I have in a year. Life is what you make it.

I learned to drive when I was 23, it's not embarrassing, what's embarrassing is having a panic on the road when you're forced to drive before you're ready.

learning will open a lot of doors for you though - do you have someone who can teach you? did you get a permit?
I know after a certain age you're no longer "required" a learning permit, but I chose to get one anyways and I really am glad I did.

I have to use my credit card most of the time and I don't like it but I'm like nah it is what it is, I still have control. I am trying to focus on things that make me feel better, I like going for walks and just looking at things, enjoying the small things. Recently it has been the snow melting and sun and all that, it's nice. And free.

It's hard to explain what I mean

I dont mean not feeling sad ever, being happy =/= never feeling sad or angry

Idk I dont have the words for it I guess... feeling content or satisfied and not like an empty shell, or like you only live for social obligations or because we all die anyway so why not?

Lol I'm older than 23

I've tried b4, panic attacks behind the wheel were my exact problem lol, also my parents were scared to teach me and put it in my head I'm going to get into an accident

I have a permit and a person to teach me, in my state you can get your permit on the same day you take the driving test. I chose to get mine in case popo were to pull me over?

It's crazy to me how many opportunities I have missed because of this, like my twenties weren't fully lived cuz of my refusal to learn a basic skill

we all reach our milestones on our own time.
tbh if I didn't live in such a rural area I'd probably have been way more afraid to learn
I still panic in cities.

I straight up almost died on the interstate back in September and I am truly lucky to be alive and I still relive it every time I have to use that road.
