if u earn under that amount u dont pay income tax, but u do pay national insurance which covers state benefits i think etc

Our limit in the us is 12k I believe I tend to file because everything will be given back in refunds anyway

I'm not even paying a lot of national insurance yet either.

See i'm up in Newcastle so that i feel like would actually eb enough to live on. I currently get £839.40 a month and after paying my mum rent, phone bill, topping up bus pass and then food i have like £650 left and it normally lasts me the full month xx
