Anyway Marylin Manson isn't as famous as Jonny Depp methinks also Harvey Weinstein is rotting in prison and everyone hates him what are you on about?
I think people are more interested in this case because it's not as cut and dry as "this man fucked underaged girls" maybe I don't know I don't follow this case.
Yeah yeah, I think ppl r interested because its two big celebrities (unlike most other cases like this, they are big but not big big like these two), and cus its a man thats the victim instead of the woman. Also probably the big twist got more ppl interested

I do find the way people react over it to be extreme, at least what I saw

but Depp's ex-wife confirmed that he never hit her, he never had anything like that in the past besides his drug and alcohol abuse
Amber has a past of abuse and well it really does seem like she has some untreated problems

After hearing her and basically SAYING that she confirms that she wrote that thing about Johnny.
the would-be NO way so many witnesses come for Johnny's side if he was in fact, the guilty one here is her, she ruined his career and is faking disorders to get away with it, something that is so vile and shitty of her.

She needs serious help.
I don't think shes necessarily faking the disorders cus I think that might very well be why she is acting like she is, but she isn't getting away with it because of those
not all, but she did exaggerate and try faking and getting  a PTSD diagnosis
and that psychologist she brought to the court literally read shit from paper and is SUPER unprofessional taking a side of someone instead of being professional
people are also using heard's being bipolar as a example that people with bipolar disorder are like that

while i want to believe that all the hatred toward her is just of her character, and not a reflection of how many men think of women (victims) as a whole, i find that hard to believe. if that was the case, where is this energy toward marilyn manson or harvey weinstein? where was the call to boycott his movies or songs from men? to me misogyny definitely plays a role, and me saying that doesn't make me a 12 year old pea-brain?
Are you saying women=victims or Amber Heard=victim? Either way uhhh?
just the general way that victims are treated when they come forward. i'm not saying only women can be victims or that amber heard is a victim. but just judging from the public reaction to her testimony, and how people are micro-analyzing her every mannerism and story, feels very much like victim-blaming to me. the sentiment of 'well she's crying too much/too little so she must be lying' etc. reflects how people think of victims as a whole, and that it's impossible to be believed bc you're 'not playing the perfect victim' whatever that even is.
Okay so I don't get this sentence

it annoys me when people try to defend amber to yell about misogyny, it's not about her as a woman but about her as an individual yes... whoever is using this as a crutch for misogyny is pea brained and probably a 12 year old elon musk stannie (sorry ouch)

bitches would always find a way to be misogyny and sadly that case if one of them,
but also a LOT of men and women alike are standing up and voicing themselves that well its not something against women, but that sadly there are also women who are abusers and it's not just a man thing and since some people believe it cannot be the case, people like her have to be called out
i feel like it's still largely men who believe men can't be abused

there was not nearly this much outrage from men with the harvey weinstein case, and the women who came forward were often ridiculed to be just 'following a trend'

Not from my experience tbh. Women seem to victim-blame men a lot, because they are stronger and they always want sex bla bla bla

i feel like the reaction to, for example, sienna mae's abuse was largely women who supported the male victim, and the men being like 'why is he so dramatic i would love for a woman to give me that attention'. but ofc it could be that we're in completely different circles. from my experience, the women on my social media have almost always been in support of the victim (male or female).
