if someone wants to steal a bike theyll find a way, doesnt matter what kinda lock u got really
and if they cant steal the whole bike theyll just take a wheel or smth

i read up a lil bit about the bike locks u could get so i got one that seemed to be slightly better than the usual ones at least, but it's a bit heavy sadly.... my last bike was stolen 2 years ago so i'm pretty mad about it and don't want anyone to steal my new one even if it's a bike from the 70s literally woqpkdwqpo

anyway this lock should be good !

my last bike was stolen 2 meters from my front door (when i was inside lmao) n it seems they cleaned out the whole yard's bikes lmao)  i bought it new w my own money and had it for like 5 months <\3
current building has a bike storage at least so im feeling more positive about it
hopefully it works well :3

it's not common in public places but if u dont have a reliable place to store it for longer periods, it's definitely smth to think about
my roommate's bike got vandalized, someone threw paint at it and stole one of the pedals when it was locked outside
