Vp has no way to keep their userbase, vp only offers options for the older users.
Vp has no marketing through social media sites. No marketing leads to no new users and vp is ruled only as long as older users keep coming here
The amount of bugs I've noticed only lowers the amount of older users staying here!
No active content: many designers quit lowers the clothing availability which is one of the main reasons for some to use the site.
Even without competition vp desperately needs new marketing strategy and a way to give content and serve its users in the long term.
competition number 1: ES has marketing, easy to start and can earn currencies without paying, more clothing, body modifications, has multilanguage system, bigger playerbase, more forum action, supports every human being equally and makes it clear. However controversial background including mods and devs and the amount of bugs +repetitive content lowers players!
The rumours and unprofessionalism around ES are what causes it to lose its users. image problem.
competition number 2: once gSm shut down back in 2016 VP got the marketing it needed, it was THE thing back in the days, it could lure gSm users to vp. Now that gSm is back in the competition there's no doubt the case will flip around and gSm will lure users from vp. However gSm has been down for years - no certain plan how long it can go on, no idea how many bugs and errors there will be. Old coding system and how gSm went down can make people doubt.
Also gSm has announced and been selling old clothing, VIP's etc. for money - as a strategy to lure back in they already failed. If gSm devs and officials can make it work and can bring users the functions what were available back in the days - gSm may have a change to compete. Though gSm out of the 2 mentioned will face a much rougher road since it needs to RE-LEARN and re-earn the trust of the users. The hype may be huge - but once the site is back on there's no answer to how many troubles it will face.
