Its ok lmao. Tbh for romani I have?? Pretty tame hair. The usual for romanian or romani is like 3b. But the strands of my hair itself are so THICK it makes everything so heavy and turns my scalp into a hellscape of heat and tangles
I gotta aggressively research roma matted hair

Cause it wouldn't "dreadlock" per se due to the lack of 4c coils but you have really thickly textured hair so it could probs mat REALLY neatly

i'm rlly interested in this now
Id volunteer to do some experiments for u but I have no desire to have dreads/matted hair
if you mix some good expensive conditioner and coconut or olive oil together and coat mats in it, they come out pretty easy fyi

just in case u ever accidnetally get a mat

But why do we have to live by US rules? CA is just an issue in the US, the world doesn't need US problems, we have our own problems. Why do US people feel like they are so superior that everyone needs to adopt their beliefs?

This is a geniune question. I really don't think it's fair to judge people based on your own cultural pov. Sure you can think they are being stupid but you should'nt say they are wrong and should change to be like you.
culturally appropriation is fucking not an issue only in the US
Yes it is. They infented the term, made up the rules and are enforcing it though the internet and tv shows/movies. Our histories are not the same so were not going to think the same.

i think all can agree that it is just wrong. but still, white people should be allowed to wear what ever hairstyle they want. just like every other human being. the solution isn't banning anything. banning dreads from white people won't solve the problem.
where do you get the gist that we want to ban this? we are just talking about how it's cultural insensitive to wear dreads when you're white, but really there's nothing that can be done for people who don't want to listen.
saying white people shouldn't have dreads?

but anyways. i know about the situation for black people with their natural hair in the us. would it be insensitive of me to have a dread-like hairdo in finland, where black people don't have such a problem?
yeah

why are we discussing whether white people should wear dreads when 9/10 of the people here aren't even black? if you really want to know whether it's cultural appropriation and why so, ask a black person. if you're not black your opinion on this subject doesn't matter, it sounds harsh,
but if you were a female you'd be pretty annoyed too if a male were to decide what is appropriate for a female to wear or not right?
it's like no one realises that you say black people should decide on white people's hairstyles, and then back up that argument by saying that men shouldn't decide what women wear.

like i'm not even disagreeing with you but your reasoning is so flawed and everybody is buying into it lmfao
