It’s an adhd thing too I think

but ig asd and adhd are so closely related it’s kinda implied
I don't think it's necessarily a lack of empathy in ADHD, bc I do have it. 
It appears like a lack of empathy bc we tend to respond to someone's situation with our own story as a way of saying "Hey, I've been there and I'm telling you this about me so you know I feel you<3" and NTs tend to take that as narcissism when it isn't.

Idk where I’ve read it but I think I’ve specifically read it can be an adhd thing before, and like not everyone with adhd show every symptom?
like 100% do believe what ur saying is correct in A LOT of cases tho

Me only talking abt myself cus its the only way I can have a conversation. Everything abt me , it just happens I can not control it. I do not have the attention span to talk abt stuff if it not abt me hello
