Emotional Support, REALLY Necessary?
Alam

"Emotional support animals" you make it sound like this is just people that are a bit socially awkward bringing their pets around, these people have legitimate disabilities like ptsd or epilepsy, they need their dogs around and these dogs are trained not to be little shits in public, or anywhere, really. Babies, on the other hand, why can't they just grow up? The little shits.

no thats service animal, emotional support animal is something else

An emotional support animal is a type of animal that provides comfort to help relieve a symptom or effect of a person's disability. Under the governing law, an emotional support animal is not a pet and is generally not restricted by species. An emotional support animal differs from a service animal

Have you ever seen parents with their kids on a leash? Maybe it's a US thing but if it's on a leash, it equals pet to me

That's often debilitating as well, they need their pets and before you go on about your whole "why do they need to go to restaurants then" spiel, they're human beings that are a part of society and this is what you do when you're a human being that's a part of society.

Oh babies can go fuck themselves. It's very common to have a lot of kids in my country, the average amount of kids per family is around three. These people often complain about their children driving them nuts, especially now with the whole rona during summer holiday thing but like, that's 100% on you there, buddy, you made these mess making snot machines.

Babies/toddlers are emotional support animals, so is it really necessary to bring them to stores/restaurants?

Leashes are nice, but they don't control noise.

 I love them anyway
