i do agree that making fun of horrible things like the immigration camps and school shootings and the whole corona hoax shit you’ve got going on is insensitive, but after a certain point, it’s like being angry about it for the people’s sake is useless. but i guarantee the majority does not think the deaths and terror is funny, but rather the circumstances that created it. because most of it was preventable, and that’s why we laugh.

I was confused because I haven't actually seen anyone laugh at the tragedies- like i can't say it didn't happen since you're so upset about it, but just know that idiots you laugh at that are in minority and yeah that is 100% unacceptable

however, I will laugh that trump has corona, i haven't read about the consequences it could have on stuff yet. Trump is scaringly stupid- I laugh at his dumb ideas, and i'm terrified of the power he has.

anyway im an american and i dont laugh at the national tragedies of other countries and i am not amused by mass death in other populations. cruelty and ignorance r not a natural state. idk

like america is a farce ? yes lmao i know. i'm watching b4 my very eyes as the country seems to b fucking dissolving. but that still does not make it ok to laugh at tragedy bc it occurs in america, especially bc it's almost always as a means to make oneself feel better abt ur own country, i.e. europeans feeling damn good abt themselves bc god, america is such a mess cant believe so many ppl are dying, so glad we're better than all of them

i dont take those things lightly either, i dont laugh at school shootings, i dont laugh at the immigration camps, i dont laugh at police brutality. i dont find it amusing, and i never will, but again, they laugh at how predictable their elected officials are and how they again and again kill their own citizens. and i dont blame them

and i dont need to use american events to feel better about my country cause i know for a fact that my country is significantly better anyway, which is a shame cause if this place is supposedly one of the best countries to live in in the world, i dont even wanna know what it’s like living elsewhere

I truthfully know more about US politics than Norwegian. The same goes for all the environmental issues I write about. 99% of the sources are about the US. If I want to find them based on Norway I more likely have to go create that information myself than to find it online.
