Because it looks really uncomfortable. And with my gag reflex and anxiety I would just rather not have to do it.

i have bad gag reflex as well and i was anxious about doing it but it was over in literally seconds and it didn't even come close to triggering my gag reflex

I have the worst gag reflex ever, I can barely brush my teeth or drink anything with foam without gagging, but the 9th time i did the test I didn't even feel anything. dont worry about it, it's not bad at all!

Im so sorry .. hope you're Okey now. 
My boss came back the other day and told me her only symptoms were headaches from hell and her smell and taste disappeared. So you might of had it as well with your symptoms.
In Sweden you can get prosecuted for not waiting on your test results and going out from your house.
