i mean, allegedly fast food is cheaper than real food but if all you do is eat burger king and "suddenly" become morbidly obese then you're your own problem
i get some people can actually suffer from mental illnesses or trauma that can cause overeating and such, but if you're not capable of seeing a problem and try to get help, then there's really not much anyone else can do

when ppl don't read books abt how the theory around class is built up, this is what happens. it gets diluted into whatever buzzword can get manipulative ppl what they want and get them to walk away from harmful behaviours and actions scot free.
so many aren't using their social & economic status' for good, only to get ahead and get what they want.

A lot of people emotionally eat due to stress for example so what happens when you cause stress for somebody who struggles with eating ? They will probably eat more.. and repeat. Its not helping at all. Only causing more problems.

yes, that is how eating disorders function.

its not your own problem when you live in a food desert. would you either buy your entire family a meal that makes them all full, or buy a much smaller meal for more money that you have to use time on after working long underpaid shifts and after having to take public transportation for 1-2 hours to get to a place that sells healthy food?
the obesity epidemic isnt an isolated problem, it is a societal issue that builds on poverty, other health issues and mental health.
and what if you dont have access to help? if you are obese you are most likely poor and you live in a poor area with little to no access to health care. where are you going to "get help"?

if it were so easy, why is it a problem?
