Ya thats why i said "white slavey wiki page" isnt a source xd
no but you know what is? right here:

this is from the white slavery page. i hovered over the footnote, and you know what it links to? a stanford article. which is what? an actual source.
what im saying is, that the wiki page is not a source in itself, it however links all its claim to actual sources which you can easily look up, because they are added as footnotes to the paper. so reading a wikipedia article is like reading a well-sourced paper. the paper is not a source, but you can reference to the paper, as it is properly sourced and thereby reliable information.
i KNOW this you dont need to talk to me like im 6 years old. I would rather have a source directly then having to look for it myself. The person who makes the argument should give sources directly and thats my opinion.

Also what do you expect to come from this thread? It's a real complex discussion and question that I'm pretty sure none of us have the real answer to, and if anything is going to lead to more confusion. There is racism because there is ignorance and bigotry. There.

Its kind of important to like sources when we talk about RACISM and im not listening to stupid clearly racist arguments. .-. "So black people were inslaved by white people" "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE PPL WHO WERE SLAVES" fuck off.

Here's some questions. Why is there sexism? Why is there homophobia and transphobia? Islamophobia? Why do parent's deliberately hurt their children? Why is the education system constantly failing those children? Why is there crime and poverty? What is happiness and how do you truly obtain it without working until you burn yourself out? Why do people resort to war? Who decided to believe in religion and that anyone who disagreed was going to be sevearly punished or deserved death?

Nobody said that lol, I just said white slaves were an interesting topic, cus I find it weird how white ppl haven't gotten oppressed to the same degree after the fact in other parts of the world where white slaves were more common (non white countries). And that ppl tend to ignore that white slaves every even existed but das a topic for another day
