it doesn't matter whether the person reacts strongly or not but you can always tell whoever takes themselves too seriously because they don't tolerate any disrespect towards who they are as a person, insecurity innit, to be secure is to not give a fuck about people say abt u cus u know who u are and u dont need to prove it to anyone

i have overly optimistic friends, so they see me v pessimistic, they told me it all the time in school n it honestly made me v sad, n i already was struggling a lot with my mental health in school, so ofc i get more pessimistic seeming when u say i am one, and def in ur eyes, being unrealistic overly optimistic i seem pessimistic bc i was not doing great back then. but i was just realistic everytime and would just get pessimist throwing in my head everytime and when i tried to tell them they wouldn't understand, so yes thinking of it, i fucking hate overly optimistic ppl
yes i am pessimistic tho, but im a mix of pessimistic and realistic
