Borderline, and the people that do it now would do it with other disorders and other shit because they're on top of the world or some shit like that
yes that's true
there are sadly many dumb people around thinking they're some hot shit and SOOO smart they can dictate and say whatever, but like freedom of speech so alles gut

oh

"while i want to believe that all the hatred toward her is just of her character, and not a reflection of how many men think of women (victims) as a whole,"

i meant, i want to believe the hate amber heard is getting is purely because she is a terrible person, and not also because she is a female terrible person. i _want_ to believe misogyny plays no part in people's hatred toward her, but i find it hard to believe that.

i feel like it's still largely men who believe men can't be abused
Not from my experience tbh. Women seem to victim-blame men a lot, because they are stronger and they always want sex bla bla bla
i feel like the reaction to, for example, sienna mae's abuse was largely women who supported the male victim, and the men being like 'why is he so dramatic i would love for a woman to give me that attention'. but ofc it could be that we're in completely different circles. from my experience, the women on my social media have almost always been in support of the victim (male or female).
Yeah that's a testament to your algorithms and timelines. You see women you agree with because you follow women you agree with and you see men you disagree with because the women you agree with are calling them out, echo chamber, we're all in one.

Anyway Marylin Manson isn't as famous as Jonny Depp methinks also Harvey Weinstein is rotting in prison and everyone hates him what are you on about?
I think people are more interested in this case because it's not as cut and dry as "this man fucked underaged girls" maybe I don't know I don't follow this case.
there was not nearly this much outrage from men with the harvey weinstein case, and the women who came forward were often ridiculed to be just 'following a trend'
Where??? There was soooo much outrage and media coverage of the Weinstein shenanigans
there was a lot of outrage largely from women. yes men obviously were angry too but not to such a degree as this case.

partly yes, but i also see that a lot of the most popular posts on reddit on the amber heard v johnny depp case are positive toward johnny depp, regardless of my personal circles. (the same goes for sienna mae). if i just do a quick reddit search i get all subreddits, not just the ones i'm subscribed to.

I mean yeah, everything plays a role in everything, like, if he was a black man a lot of people might not have believed him. Of course misogyny plays a roll in this, we live in a society.

Oh, it will, there's no such thing as not at all in cases so heated, and just in anything emotions and humanity related, as long as people like that exist it would never be the case, but it's a hopeful thought.
From what it looks like, MOST of the hate she is getting is because it's her, the person and individual she is.

Online circles are usually more progressive in that way than normal life I feel like, mby because of the age gap idk. I know men irl too that has happened to too n its just like 🤔 it for sure happens more than most ppl realize, that women don't take men seriously, and vice versa obv, but I don't think theres a big difference in percentage between the two sides, I just think its more noticeable when men ridicule women because more women are open about being abused/raped etc

That the top pists support him instead of her doesn't necessarily have anything to do with misogony tho lmao

i'm just making a point about how it's not just my personal circles, but the general public's opinion

Yeah well I don't think that's the main issue with this case, is what I'm saying. The main issue is that this dude was abused, and the underlying issue is that a fuckton of men are abused, often by women, but we only hear about it when it's Johnny fucking Depp because patriarchy.
