It depends on the intention and the use. If it's to appreciate a culture I'd say it's fine, but if it's just to dressup or in any way mock a culture then no.
Let's say you're wearing the Bunad because you want to celebrate Norway day with the Norwegians, I think that should be allowed at least if you're in Norway to do so?

if you're in norway yea, my father is german and has lived here for like 20 years and has no intention of ever leaving, my mother is gonna make him a bunad eventually
but the same variation as her then obviously, not a random one

Yeah, I agree with that very much. You get a relation to countries you live in, so it makes sense to want to show that sort of appreciation especially when tradition is to wear the bunad for your official day.

definetly, it's cool, expensive as hell tho so you might wanna get a festdrakt since you probably don't have anyone to inherit it from lol
