I think the concept of the revival  is a bit short-sighted.
It will be exactly the same: the nostalgia people will be happy for a short while and keep it running with their money since they are adults.

But what happens after the nostalgia wears off? If they try to develop it and add new stuff, the nostalgia crowd will riot, if everything stays the same forever it will become unprofitable again soon because people will get bored.

I also think it's hard to keep the website going, if they only have the old perks of being a paying member without changing that model, because being a paying user on gSm was shit and didn't give you any perks that were worth it in any way.

But I absolutely agree about the nostalgia, and I don't think it'll keep up either if they haven't thought of something more. They also have a massive competitor in ES, because they release clothing like the fast fashion industry and let their users run wild with their "political correctness" and other stuff, and the users that like that more won't stay on gSm either.
