black people existed before white people. y'all only here because a few blacks got a skin disease
I truly hope you don't actually believe that.
Skin color is directly related to how close you are to the eqator. The darker the skin you have the more melatonin (i think thats what its called ) you have to protect against the sun. Thus why even white skin gets darker with tanning. Youre absorbing more sun so your body is like YOURE GONNA DIE FROM EXPOSURE SHIT SHIT HERE TAKE THIS

you think it's a problem. Society doesn't. Can't judge for your country but in the netherlands we share everything. We even change our own culture so that everyone can participate. We expect people to share culture. We expect that we dutch people can join in in your party and we also expect you to join in ours. Sure we have problems but they never are: oh your Dutch you should not wear Turkish cloathes or oh your Turkish you cant join in this typical dutch thing. Our problems are more like: Police stop pulling me over bc i'm Turkish. Not CA related.
yeah but are also the country with a character in blackface for christmas, so i don't really value your opinion at all.
ffs they stopped the tradition because it was offensive. doesn't that tell something?
'they' did not stop any tradition? Idk where you got that

cultural appropriation is cultural appropriation, period.
it doesn't get any less offensive just because you live in a different country, bye
Yes it does! There are no general rulles determing what is socially accepted and what not. I live in a country were it is totally ok to dress up like a black celebrity, like Beyonce complete with blackface. This is not frouwned upon at all! In america this is not ok. It's racist even.

Your culture determs whats socially wrong. CA does not exist everywere. It does to you, true. But it does not to me or my country. You can't say someting is right or wrong in another country when you're not from that country.
Just because in your country is deemed acceptable doesn't mean it's okay to do so
That's what i'm saying. No gereral rules. Just bc it's ok in my country it doesn't have to be ok in yours. We should stop telling people from other countries what to do.

That's not what I mean. Do you think that racism and cultural appropriation doesn't exist in your country as well???
It does! It exists in every country in Earth! That the people in your country choose to ignore it and continue their racist traditions is another thing

Appereantly google image search is not the answer in this one :'D

When I browsed viking matted hair there came mostly pics of white people with "dreads" (you know to me they look like dreads cause I've been taught that dreads look like that (on white people AND poc)
Then I browsed just matted hair and most of the pics are poc.

Like ???
Now I wanna know what matted hair looks like and what's the difference in matted hair and dreads.
(AND NOPE I do not mean to be racist in any way. I'm not saying it's okay for white people to get "dreads". I'm just curious and confused)

No we did not stop. It's not something that can be changed over night. It needs to be gradually. I mean yes it can be changed over night if you get laws against it but that will only cause polarisation. This is someting so deeply rooted in our culture (for us in a good way, like we celebrate zwarte piet)  if you change over night it will not be good for minorities as they will have to deal with more discriminatoin. It's better to change slowely.

"Vikings, celts, and irish people had culturally significant MATTED hairstyles."
I took that straight from the starting message.

This is the first time I've even heard of matted hair, so I'm not expert in these.
