i have an other experience than you. i do agree that there's a lot of ignorant lesbians, but i don't think gay men are any better. especially white gay men tbh. for example when it comes to racism, white gay men is just as bad as white lesbians, and this still is a big problem a lot of places. gay men are also just as gatekeeping towards bisexual men and lesbians are against bisexual women. 

and so much more.

I haven't witnessed too much gatekeeping of bisexual men by gay men, I've actually seen it more from straight women and sometimes men, though not as often because they aren't looking to date men. As for the race thing, yeah that's a major issue, probably a bigger one in the gay community than the lesbian community. The big thing though is lesbian prejudice against trans people, which, in my experience is a bigger issue than in the gay community.
