best way to maintain a caloric deficit is introducing more exercise, if you're ONLY reducing calories especially down to like 1200 calories a day you're killing your metabolism and your brain in the long run

U can eat some but I would measure them tbh, same w pasta etc, cus ppls perception of regular portions of those types of food is very much too big
Yes. Of course but us the same with everything. You can eat meat but measuring the cuantity
Yeah but like fr tho, when I had an ed, I would eat the most crap foods, like chips, noodles, candy, all that shit, I would just eat very little of it so I still maintained a low weight, like everything is FINE (weight wise), its just not healthy for ur body tho. I think some ppl do need to lax a bit abt what exactly they eat tho, and not just eat healthy n be done w it, cus some ppl do rlly b just eating an extreme amount of nuts, avocado, all that stuff cus its healthy but they gain weight cus its very calorie dense. Balance, ig
Yessss exactly what i think. Finally someone says it. People just be eating tons of avocado to lose weight and it actually has a lot of calories. My dad when he lose weight he ate not only healthy food, he sometimes ate some meat and it is ok because he meassured the cuantity.

I dont know. I think the best would be to try somethings out and see how your body reacts or just go to a nutricionist.

Hmmm depends. Shit there was weird. I was also on tumblr but I didn't really interact with anyone and can't really remember the posts. Just remember some weird old mfs hitting me up. Ed Twitter had like a 'war' between I think they called themself 'baddie ed twt' or some shit like this and the other half who told people 'to be careful' and not feel guilty after binging and stuff. Baddie ed twt used like fucking cat emojis and just kinda gatekeeped having an ed. Idfk shit was weird

I think firstly, the most important thing should be making sure your body gets enough vitamins and minerals. Water too ofc. And secondly, everything is about moderation. A slice of cake in and of itself is not "unhealthy" and will not lead to weight gain - its just a slice of cake. Healty food is food taken in, as said, moderation.
Focus more on what makes your body feel good, what gives you energy and find a way to understand cravings. Cravings arent bad, and can tell you what your body needs more of. Theres a lot of research out there, i wouldnt blindly trust a lot of info here no offence. ((also make sure what youre reading can be backed up, not just some voho by a stanger who woke up one morning having the cure for bodyfat).

also i know its not what you asked but .. being skinny shouldnt be the one goal, thats a very disordered thought prosses. A balanced body, not just cal counting or fasting or diets or whatever shitbag given out as truth. Do some deeper research into it, its a lot of information to find. Should also prob talk to (as mentioned by someone else) a nutritionist. Diets and such leads to fallbacks and its a fucked up circle that can be prevented. (as they say, a healthy mindset leads to a healthy body)

For me calories have alot to say, if I eat more calories than I should for my age, hight and all that jazzz over time I gain like crazy. Ofc eating healthy is also important and by that I don't mean you can't have sweets but all in moderation

Losing weight is 80% eating habits and 20% working out.

I have no self control tho in this corona time, and I indulge when I feel sad which is often

Well its just culture. For me when i went to the USA i couldnt stand the flavor of things cooked with butter, it was just to much for me. We only use butter for cakes and so, but not for meal cooking.

Yeah I think for asian cooking I would go for oil but for western cooking I would go for butter tbh, generally
