Oo, please give an update on exciting times! It's on my my list of books i wanna get

I read while taking the bus and tbh it's quite neat! I really like how easy to read and I really enjoy it, i wouldn't give it 10 out of 10 but a solid 7 so far (im far from finished) but it's a good book and makes me happy

I think I'm gonna have to get it, i like some light reads, that is fast phased, between the heavier books!
Is it the type of book you typically read or is it pretty different genre? 😳

I think you'll like it if you like light reads, also it's v appealing for ppl our age because it's basically life abt young adults etc.
I dont know what i typically read, i've been reading a lot of Haruki Murakami books years ago, and also heavy big beefy fantasy books. I kinda enjoy reading something feel-good now since I typically don't read much anymore.
I feel like i read to learn more, hence the ''thinking in systems'' book

Yea, i have a couple others, that are allegedly like it and i really enjoy those books. I'm all for reading things that are realistic. I don't mind a little schi-fi or fantasy, but it typically ain't my genre.
I really wanna read some haruki murakami, which ones have been your favorites so far?

Yeah gotchu! Had a big thing for dragons as a kid so I loved the Eragon book series, but other than that usually more realistic/everyday/relatable.
I think Norwegian Wood is good. I must say tho, it may have a bit depressing undertone but I enjoyed the book a lot as a teen. I feel the movie had too much focus on sex than other things, which was dissapointing for me and awkward as hell because i watched with my dad LOL

Why does that sound familiar.
Maybe that's where i start, with norwegian woods, i guess it's his classic, most popular too? Also how awkward! 😳

It's one of his popular, like kafka is good too but I wouldn't start with that book. Norwegian wood is kinda like exciting times since it's basically teens/almost young adults but more of melancholy undertone. It's a lot about loss/grief and change, and a bit abt growing sexuality too. It's more realistic than some of ther of his works so i think this would fit if u wanna read his work.
