What if I work out n I get  a skinnier waist n a bigger butt, can't I b body positive anymore. If im doing something naturally, but still achieving the same outcome as plastic surgery would have ?
i think that you wouldnt feel the same sense of achievement so it wouldnt be......................................................................... as positiv

Whats the difference between plastic surgery and: makeup, altering ur weight, working out to get more muscles (not for health necessarily? Boys that are obsessed with working out cus they r so tiny for example), dying ur hair, curling or straightening ur hair, wearing colored contacts, acrylics, wigs, etc etc

makeup: two uses, imo: cover your flaws (what i dont consider as body positive at all, honestly) and artistic purposes (u kno this artworks ppl can do on their faces lol)

weight: health condition. being extremely overweight or underweight is horrible for your physical health, and mental health

working out to get muscles: i honestly dont get it for most of the time. like if u want to go and enter in a competition.... like the uhhh who-has-the-most-muscle comps (idk how they call it)

dying your hair: again, you can reverse hair dye, and it surely will never cause an actual harmful addiction

curling or straightening your hair: dont care, still doesnt harm you nor will it cause a harmful addiction. may i add that straightening your hair because ppl make fun of your natural texture is tricky

colored contacts: unless you make yourself blind bc you use bad contacts, it does not harm you

acrylics: nails you mean? doesnt harm unless you get 3 meter acrylic nails

wigs: will not harm you unless youre allergic to a specific material lol

I think people can do with themselves whatever the fuck they want.

Agree on the part where they should not tell others what to do.
i mean........... i do think its silly pretending that individual choices arent influenced by society/the collective and also that they dont influence society/the collective . n it is good to b aware and mindful of that. saying 'ppl can do what they want' isnt very helpful in mi opinion
I get that it can be influenced but it's still there body. They can do what the hell they want to with it and who are people to tell them they can't?

If the point is chaning something abt urself it would b the same tho tbh, the argument doesn't change, And what if I feel just as satisfied or achievement or whateva by getting surgery (but its something that I COULD have done naturally, das bad suddenly? Same thing different means

did you read this? cause this sums up my thoughts basically. feel free to disagree obviously
i wouldnt get why changing something you dont hate abt yourself; but if u care to give me an insight?
because they want to? you dont have to hate something to change it. i dont see how thats a strange concept
and whats the reason behind the "want", thats what i try to ask
is it because its trendy? because you want to look like someone else?

you cannot be body positive unless you are dead, everything is conspiring against body positivity, the only true body positive people are those without a brain which can lead them astray!
