Let's rather consider this: if  you are finished with high school or the average person born the same year as you have finished high school.. you aren't a girl anymore. 
And especially this: if you are old enough to in normal time hold a bachelor's degree you should really not refer to yourself as a child anymore. statistically people that age have kids other places, people with kids shouldn't be perceived as kids.
