Yeah he's getting help and has had some improvement, fingers crossed it gets even better!
ive worked a little with psychosis, and i know how terrible it can be to witness it. i fortunately have only seen it active once, but ive seen the aftermath and it can be exhausting for both those who experience it, and those around them. so i really hope he gets better soon<3 and that it wont be such a hard recovery for him.

He's come to the point where he doesn't hear voices anymore. They told him he had to suffer for the people who were ill, he was not allowed by these voices to smile or feel joy or they would kill him etc etc. He also claimed he could see the covid virus on his hand and used almost a liter of handsoap within just 5 days obsessivly washing his hands. He also screams and cry. It's so heartbreaking. Lol sorry for rant but it's just awful I can't be there to help them myself I feel so out of control

oh wow, thats so terrifying. i used to hear voices a few years ago, but theyre all gone now. so i can relate to that. but ouch, hallucinating must feel so terrifying. are those mostly gone as well, or just the voices?

Sorry you've had to go through that, it's awful!
He doesn't have any hallucinations anymore, mostly just delusions. He did well after getting a solid mix of medications, but when they tried to smallen the dosage it worsen and he is back with all the thoughts. They adjusted his dosage again yesterday to higher so I'm feeling good about that.

yeh, medications r tricky. they need to be in u for long enough to lessen the problems, but also be dosed down slowly enough so the body doesnt react. so i hope these meds work out for him, and he can soon be off them!

i know, she's been right about everyone i know, it's crazy
well, not exactly right. but some of the words she uses.. they are so spot on. she couldve said "lonely", but no. she said ISOLATED.
