i just bought we we were liars!! but i've heard lately that it's overhyped
I feel like books is one of those things, where you have to shut others opinion out, because peoples reading experience is so different! (which honestly i love that)

i've been learning to do that more and more recently... you're absolutely right. i feel like either a book resonates with you and how you grew up and the way you are, or it just.. doesn't. which is fine!!

For sure! I have books that was hyped up to me, but i felt so mediocre and on the other hand i have books i like, which had awful reviews 😳 So i never trust a review unless the majority rule a book a "slow phased book", because then i might just not wanna read it.

Honestly, most are pretty okay phased.
The only one i can think of is hunger games catching fire, i found it pretty slow phased since i found that it takes some time for them to get to business. The first one was fine and the last was a little predictable, but it was still a read i really enjoyed.

I get that, i sure think it's one you can appreciate more as a y/a than, if you were like 40, given the age of the main characters.
