That's horrendous. Im glad we have more or less changed as a society. But we still have a long way to go.

Thats horrible! There are still a lot of stigmas and misinformation regarding ADHD and related ones. My dad didnt wanted me to get diagnosed because when he was a child the doctors and people didnt treat him well, he has dyslexia and probably adhd too. I hope we get to a point where we don't feel judged or that we have to hide who we are. I have girl friends whos families literally performed exorcisms on them as children, because folks in this region did not understand ADHD at all 15-20 years ago.
