the difference between a cosmetic surgery and body modifications (lets say piercings and tattoos) is that you can actually reverse body modifications, and it most of the times wont have much of a problem, meanwhile cosmetic surgery will stay there

n plastic surgery for medical reasons, as i stated before, is different to cosmetic surgeries
Cant plastic surgery be reversed or modified in certain situations? Also some body mods are irreversible, like certain tattoos and things 

Also you didnt address my main point, which is that not all plastic surgery- reversible or not- is rooted in insecurity. Is the living barbie doll girl living a life of pain? No. It seems positive to me. 

Idk your view is kinda all or nothing to me. Like if a fat positivity person lost weight and still preached body positivity afterwards, would that make them a hypocrite?
