Well how we look at death is cultural, mourning is very European ngl. 
The most recent death in my family.. It was about time, like why can't we be honest here. Do we really want people to stay alive when their bodies are failing and they're insanely sick? When my grandmother died it was closer to a blessing as she could finally stop being in pain and suffering.
