The problem around cultural appropriation is not necessarily "you don't have the right skin" or "you can't do this because you're [specific race]". No the problem is that white people in general have oppressed poc for centuries but now you want to steal their style, copy it, change it and make it mainstream without even 1) respecting the race and 2) still treat poc like shit.
Some black people don't care, some do. But if white people would've treated poc the same as they would like to be treated themselves, then I wouldn't care either whether they wore dreads or not.
