'happiness is a choice' is factually true, but that choice is often hard or impossible to make because of our circumstances. saying 'happiness is a choice' in reaction to someone who is depressed or going through a rough time is an extremely dismissive way of judging someone.

idk how my point has to do with capitalism? also my point is literally that life is not that simple, which makes happiness being a choice also not that simple. idk why you keep trying to misrepresent me
