okay but the age gap between 16 and 24 is 8 years
here the age of consent is 16 too but you can still get charged for doing sex with minors over 16 if the age gap is considerable and therefore affects the dynamics of the relationship
i'd probably be kinda creeped out with the vast majority of people participating in a group chat like that, hope u find someone worth ur time
Oh I know, I'm cautious to a fault and I only really talked in that group once. Dude's a creep, that's for sure.
i feel like it's sometimes v difficult to draw the line for what you should share to seemingly harmless people u picked up from somewhere like dating apps or these kinda group chats for example. like it can be fun, everything can go well, but it's especially unnerving when u find out someone's s creep only after discovering u don't get along that well after all. so i'd rather put off giving out any personal info until i've decided my gut tells me it's fine after talking for a while
because like for example there was this creep bombarding my full fb friends list to ask me to message them back, telling everyone it was urgent. turns out they liked something i said on my tinder bio, and after i hadn't written them back in a while (i had tinder uninstalled at the time) they tracked me down and i still get messages from people saying "sorry i hadn't noticed this message but it seemed important". i'd never even talked to them and they kept this on for several months????? so like honestly be careful, people can be really intense online
Yeah, I get that. I'm scared I wasn't cautious enough since I showed him my face, told him the city I live in and told him my first name. It's quite irrational since the city I live in has almost 100k people in, I don't have my name, first or last on any social media and I'm pretty generic looking. I guess it's better to be paranoid about this stuff.
